So I completely forgot to post on Saturday - way to go #Novemberblogfest! But I'm trying to get better.
But we certainly have had a busy weekend. Friday night we had a mixer group at our house and had a great fellowship time, complete with some award willing chili! Emmalee and I went to Canton with some of the ladies in my Sunday School class on Saturday. We had such a great time and she was a PERFECT angel the entire day! After church on Sunday Emmalee and I went to a baby shower for Nicole, the wife of my former boss, Adam. Everyone had a fit over Emmalee and how precious she is.
This evening I've been working on a few new dresses for Emmalee and some new baby shower invitations and cards for a few clients.

To The Extreme
If you have read my blog for a months then you know that I recently started a new job. I actually went back to financial compliance, which is what I was doing before I became a litigation paralegal. I love my job and I am incredibly impressed with the company I work for. I can honestly say that this company is rooted in its core values:
- We are family
- We strive for excellence
- We bring honor to the team
- We have FUN!
- We act with a servant's heart.
I see these values in action every single day and it has been my privilege to join them in working out of these core values. This week, there is a group of workers going out to the airport to welcome in some troops. Anytime the troops come home, someone is there to welcome them. I love this - I love that fact that this company is proud to honor and thank the men & women serving our country. This company definitely loves and support our community, and this year is no exception!
Every year, the company does an all-out campaign to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We raise money for an entire month, then, as a company, we participate in and sponsor the Fort Worth JDRF Walk for a Cure!
So in an effort to help in the campaign and raise money for JDRF, I am offering a Great Grabbie Designs special! My goal is to raise $250 - will you help me???

Birth Announcement
I realized the other day that I had never shown everyone what Emmalee Caroline's birth announcement looked like. I really loved the way they turned out with a light pink font on the black background.
(Back)
(Back)When I was designing this, I had a list of verses for Brant and I to choose from. I was learning more toward 1 Samuel 1:27 (For this child I have prayed...), but then I saw this one. Its amazing how Brant and I both fell in love with this verse. The Lord didn't just bless us with a child, but He blessed us because He answered our prayers, He calmed our fears, He provided for us every step of the this journey to have Emmalee. His blessings have been immeasurable and He still blesses us everyday. Once we read this verse, it seems more than perfect to describe our feelings toward Him constant stream of blessings and mercy.

Christmas Card Carousel
Faith is doing the annual Christmas Card Carousel. This is one of my favorite blogs posts during this time of year. Being a card designer, I LOVE seeing all the different cards.
Here is the card I designed for Brant and I!
Just in case you can't read the wording:"And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6 b
He is our
MIRACLE MAKER
Wishing that all your Christmas dreams come true.
------------------------------------------------------------------
And just for fun, here are few others that I designs for a few customers.

Great Grabbie Designs
Great Grabbie Designs is my custom blog and stationery design business.
I began digital scrapbooking in early 2008 and fell in love with it. That summer, I began making blog headers for my friends in my spare time. Great Grabbie Designs was created shortly thereafter with the goal of creating great blog makeovers and cards at an affordable cost. I have a strong belief that every blog should have some personality and be a representation of you!
Here are a few recent Christmas Card designs:

New Blog Designs
I know - I have been a really bad blogger and I never uploaded new recipes when I promised I would. But I have been busy!!!!!!
On March 21st, I hosted (yes I - no one else) a bridal shower for my dear friend Melissa. But since all the guests live almost an hour north of me, my SIL was generous enough to allow me to host it at her home in Plano. Although it was fabulous to have it there, it was a pain getting everything packed up! I had to get the food, the flowers, the drinks, the serving pieces, the plates, napkins, the gift...you name it - I had to pack it!
Then last weekend we had a Sunday School garage sale to benefit the Mansfield Young Life summer camp! Praise the Lord we made our goal of $2000 to help send kids to camp. After the garage sale, Ethan came to play at Grabbie's house while everyone else was at the school for Spring Fling.
Life is just simply crazy right now with baseball, but there is an end in sight...and Monday is opening day of the Texas Rangers and it is tradition that we go....all 100 or so of us!!!! Literally, tickets were bought in September for this day - it is one of those events that people plan their schedules around. We will literally start tailgating by 10 am! This is a great day filled with friends and fellowship! Last year was the first year that I had not been since Brant and I started dating (its his tradition) because I had to work...but this year I made SURE I had the day off! I am really looking forward to it!
But, I leave you with a few new designs I have completed recently! Thanks to everyone who took advantage of the Spring Break Special! I had a great time designing for you!!!!

Spring Break Special
I'm posting for the first time in over a month - please don't fall out of your chairs! HA!
But in all seriousness, I have just been busy! Work, Brant and baseball, watching sister's kids, planning vacations, planning baby showers, planning wedding showers, preparing for the wedding I'm in coming in June, spending good quality time with friends, working out and losing weight, preparing for Bible study, creating blog designs and cards...and so much more! Yes, life has been hectic, but it has also been good.
My cooking has slacked a bit mainly because baseball season at DBU started, meaning I am pretty much a widow for most of the spring. Brant is usually gone 2-3 nights during the week, then usually all day on Saturdays. And when I say "all day" - the man is out of the house by 7 am and gets home around 9 pm! But I do try to go to the games, even if it is just taking him lunch! However, I do still have a few recipes to post for you - watch for them coming soon (and by soon, I mean within a week...not a month).
But for the fun news, Great Grabbie Designs is having a Spring Break Special. From now until March 20th, blog designs are the following:
