This weeks blog hop is recipes, which I am just thrilled about. I recently found this recipe for cookies, and they are fabulous!
Ingredients:
1 traditional brownie mix
1/4C butter, melted
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1C powdered sugar
1C creamy peanut butter
chocolate frosting
Heat oven to 350' degrees.
Beat brownie mix, butter, cream chese and egg for about 50 strokes, or until blended well. The mixture will be stikcy.
Drop about a spoon-full 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Smooth around the edges to make them round.
Mix powered sugar and peanut butter together. Form small balls of peanut butter mixture and press into the center of the brownie dough.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until edges are set.
Let cool for at least 30 minutes.
Frost with chocolate icing.
