Time Goes By...

...So quickly these days! It seems like Emmalee is growing up overnight.  She is getting so big and doing new things everyday.  I think she might be sitting on her own any day now!  She was practicing on Saturday!

Last week Em had her first cold/congestion.  I'm actually not sure if it was cold because she never ran a fever, it was more just really bad congestion.  Last Saturday she just wanted to be held and cuddled. 

This poor baby girl just didn't feel good, luckily she's feeling much better now. 

Friday night we went to the Stars season opener.  It was a fantastic game that they won.  What was even more fantastic was that we were given tickets from a DBU vendor and they were in a fabulous suite, center-ice.  Emmalee has fun, too! 

 

Between the 2nd and 3rd periods some sportscasters were interviewing Mike Modano right below our suite.  If you're not a hockey fan, then Mike Modano was a great hockey player who just retired.  He is probably one of hockey's greatest, and we got to see him up close!  

We had the most wonderful time.  Saturday we spent some time cleaning the house, the garage, shopping - all kinds of stuff.  This weekend we're going to see Brant's parents in Texarkana and taking Emmalee to a pumpkin patch to take some 6 MONTH PICTURES!  I cannot believe my baby girl is about to be 6 months old - CRAZY!

Well I hope everyone has a fabulous Monday!  I've got my Texas Ranger's gear on today so I can cheer my team to the World Series, again!
